Standard Limited Warranty Repairs

FORT Robotics warrants that each new product will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship when used in accordance with FORT Robotics' published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original purchase from FORT Robotics or an authorized FORT Robotics dealer.

To determine if the item is covered under the warranty, FORT must evaluate the item. If the repair is covered under warranty, FORT will, at its option, repair or replace the item free of charge and pay for return shipping. If there was user damage and/or the repair is not covered under warranty, the Non-Warranty repair section below will apply.

Non-Warranty Repairs

If there is user damage or a product is outside of the 1-year warranty and the product is not covered by the Silver or Gold Guardian plans, then it is considered a Non-Warranty repair. If no problem is found, an evaluation fee will be assessed.

There are 4 levels of repair. Each is dependent on the extent of the damage. Unrepairable items will be destroyed or returned at the customers’ expense.

All shipping fees to and from FORT Robotics for the repair will be the sole responsibility of the customer for Non-Warranty repairs.

Accidental Damage

All Silver and Gold Guardian subscribers have accidental damage coverage.* This covers all 4 levels of repair to covered units at no additional cost to the customer. 

Accidental Loss

Guardian Gold subscribers are also entitled to accidental loss coverage.* FORT will replace lost or stolen units subject to payment of the following deductibles:

  • Wireless E-Stop: $499 USD
  • Safe Remote Control: $749 USD
  • Vehicle Safety Controller: $499 USD

Battery Replacement

All Guardian Gold subscribers are eligible for free battery replacements.* To submit a replacement request, log in to the customer support portal.

Processing Time

FORT Robotics strives to process all repair requests within 15 business days of receipt. If needed, please indicate that you need expedited service in your RMA request. We will try to accommodate any special requests. Priority will be given to Silver and Gold plan customers. 

RMA Instructions

  1. Create an RMA request using the customer support portal.
    a. Note: If this is the first time using the support portal, you will need to create an account.
  2. Once approved, please print the support ticket and place it in the box.
  3. Indicate the support ticket number on the outside of the box.
    a. Ex: "CSP-1234"
  4. The customer is responsible for shipping fees for the item being sent to FORT Robotics for repair. FORT will cover return shipping back to the customer. Please see the Warranty and Non-Warranty information sections below for more details.

    Customers Based Outside of the United States

    International customers (outside the USA) must indicate the following on their waybill:
    a. Description of Goods: “USA goods returning for temporary import repair and return."
    b. Country of Origin: “USA”
    c. EIN Number: 83-2052977

FAILING TO FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN YOUR SHIPMENT BEING DELAYED OR REFUSED. WE RECOMMEND SHIPPING VIA UPS, FEDEX, OR DHL. PLEASE AVOID USING USPS IF POSSIBLE.

FORT Robotics, Inc. will not be held responsible for misdirected or lost shipments. If possible, return all associated accessories normally included with the product for a full evaluation.

Please notify FORT Robotics if there are any changes to your RMA. Failure to comply may result in the refusal of your shipment. The shipper is to pay all destination country duty & tax in addition to all shipping charges.

Limitations and Disclaimers

All warranties will be void and the purchaser waives any rights to make a warranty claim if the product has been opened, altered, modified, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than a service facility authorized by FORT Robotics to render such services. Further, the seal and serial number on the unit must not have been altered or removed. The unit must not have been subject to accident, misuse, and/or abuse or operated contrary to the instruction provided. The opinion of FORT Robotics with respect to this matter shall be final. This warranty does not include and is not extended to broken and damaged accessories, batteries (except as provided above), and exposed antenna and to parts wearing out due to normal wear and tear.

*FORT reserves the right to suspend this coverage in the event of excessive accidental damage claims, accidental loss claims, and battery replacement claims and the right to replace the damaged or lost unit with a refurbished unit.

THE WARRANTIES DESCRIBED HEREIN STATE FORT ROBOTICS’ SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY, AND YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, FOR ANY DEFECTS OR NON-CONFORMITIES, EXCEPT AS MAY BE PROVIDED BY APPLICABLE LAW. FORT ROBOTICS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, FROM FORT ROBOTICS, WILL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN.

PLEASE INCLUDE A COPY OF THE RMA INSIDE THE BOX WITH THE PRODUCT.
